Canatu shapes surfaces into experiences with its 3D formable and bendable transparent conductive films and touch sensors.

Canatu supplies Carbon NanoBud® films and touch sensors to touch module vendors and OEM’s in several industries, for example consumer electronics and automotive. Canatu’s patented innovations have the potential to revolutionize industries by enabling new kinds of printed flexible, foldable and 3D shaped electronics products that also reduce cost and environmental impact. The films and sensors provide for superb optical clarity and increased battery life by offering the best in class light transmission coupled with ultra-low reflections. The company origins from the Aalto University’s Nanomaterials Group, where the new type of process and material were invented in late 1990’s and early 2000’s.

Inventure joined Canatu in 2010.

Canatu joins @esa project to develop Carbon NanoBud -based optical filter for the X-Ray applications. Developed for the future space telescope Athena, the transparent CNB filter could enable further visibility to space.
