Umbra is on a mission to make it possible to display any 3D content in real time on any piece of hardware.

Umbra is on a mission to make it possible to display any 3D content in real time on any piece of hardware. Umbra creates an optimized database from your 3D data, whether it is a small game level or a huge architectural model. It automatically processes your data, which means you can give Umbra your geometry as-is without modifying it in any way, or doing any extra work. Umbra’s solutions are the backbone of a wide range of 3D applications that are used by millions of people every day.

Umbra runs on virtually any modern CPU and does not depend on any specific hardware or external software. All computers, mobile devices and gaming consoles are supported. All major engines, such as Unity and Unreal Engine support Umbra. In addition, Umbra has been shipped in a huge number of games and other applications, many of which run completely custom engines.

Inventure joined Umbra in 2015.

For this week as part of our second part series on design interaction, we delve into the additional intricacies of manipulating #3D content in #AR. Learn more about the not-so-visible changes in how you interact with 3D content after our latest update: https://t.co/q6C2beqdgC

We're determined to simplify the use of #AR in the real world to the point it becomes second nature for everyone. That's why we've improved the navigation and manual content alignment in our Composit Viewer for even more ease of use! Learn more here: https://t.co/lfD26wxG9B
