Inventure has been supporting Swedish entrepreneurs over the past ten years – first, from our headquarters in Helsinki, and recently from our Swedish office in Stockholm. So far, our team got an opportunity to work with seven Swedish startups (Silex Microsystems, Freespee, and Detectify to name a few). Over the next couple of years, we hope to triple this numbers.
As we keep seeing many opportunities (thanks to our Venture Partner, Daniel Lauren!), we made the decision to strengthen our presence in Sweden. Today, we are very pleased to welcome Linus Dahg to our family (starting with us in May).
Based out of Stockholm, Linus will be heading our operations in Sweden. Linus has been in venture capital for more than 5 years – first with Almi Invest in Stockholm, then with Wellington Partners in London. Prior to joining our team, he was part of the management team of a Copenhagen-based startup Tonsser, where he worked on growth, product and partnerships. At Inventure, Linus will look at both consumer and enterprise opportunities, focusing on software, AI, machine learning, and food tech.
With Linus joining us, Inventure’s team grows to ten people – seven of us based out of Helsinki, two out of Stockholm and one out of Shanghai. We are certain that with the expanded team we can strengthen our investment activities in the Northern Europe, as well as support the growing number of Nordic entrepreneurs.
